Do I need Google Sheets or Excel?

Either one. The workbook is a standard .xlsx file that opens in Google Sheets (free with a Google account) and in Excel 2016 or newer, including Excel for Mac and Microsoft 365. The dashboard runs in your web browser and doesn't need either.

Does it work on a Mac?

Yes. Use Google Sheets or Excel for Mac for the workbook, and Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox for the dashboard. The dashboard also works on a phone for checking your numbers.

Which marketplaces does it support?

The fee table comes set up for Etsy, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon and a generic "Other" channel. The dashboard reads order exports from Etsy, Shopify and TikTok Shop directly. For any other channel, you can paste or type orders into the workbook.

Is my data private?

Yes. The dashboard runs entirely in your browser: your files are read on your device and never uploaded to us or anyone else. The workbook lives wherever you save it, on your computer or in your own Google Drive. We don't collect your sales data at all.

Do I need accounting skills?

No. If you can copy and paste a spreadsheet, you can use TallyProfit. Every number on the dashboard is explained in plain English in the guide, and the sample file shows a full year of a fictional shop so you can see how it's meant to look.

Are the fees accurate?

The default rates were checked in October 2026 and are listed in a fee table you can edit. Marketplaces change fees, run promotions and charge differently in some cases, so confirm the rates in your own seller dashboard and update the table if anything differs. For TikTok Shop we use the documented 6% referral fee; a change to 8% from August 2026 has been reported but we haven't been able to confirm it, so check your statement.

Is this tax advice?

No. TallyProfit shows a tax set-aside estimate based on a percentage you choose, as a savings habit. It isn't tax, legal or accounting advice. Talk to a tax professional about what you actually owe.

How do I get it after paying?
